Sunset Lane is a warm, loving Southern Baptist Church located in Bessemer City, North Carolina. Located between B.C. Memorial Cemetery and B.C. High School, we like to say that we are located "between man's education and his destination". We are associated with The Greater Gaston Baptist Association and Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. We believe the Bible to be God's Holy Word and without error, we subscribe to the Baptist Faith and Message and have adopted the Church Covenant as our motto.
The church began as a mission of the First Baptist Church of Bessemer City in 1953. Here is a handout from the 50th celebration of the 11th Street Mission. Following are some pictures of the church.
